So I was sick last week, AND I injured my knee running. Although it was really upsetting I found some of the causes of my unhealthy habits. I'd had knee surgery when I was younger, and I did the same thing I did after pulling my knee Friday. I sulked. I got depressed, and I sat playing video games, eating and sulking. It made me realize that throwing yourself the best pity parties just catches up to you later. Therefore, I got up off my happy butt (once I was over my flu), and stretched my knee. It took me almost three days, but my knee feels better today, and I was able to run. An injury can totally change your mind set before you know it. It did for me at least, but today, I'm back on track and besides the belly ache from the junk I consumed during my pity party, I feel great! So here we are, in the home stretch! Good things to come!
